Gameplay Data: We collect in-game activity including your character stats, positions, actions, combat history, song recordings, band memberships, and progress (levels, XP, achievements).

Chat & Communications: Messages sent through in-game chat (SOM chat, band chat, private messages) are stored to enable communication features and to moderate for community safety.

Payment Information: If you make a donation or purchase premium items, payment processing is handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers.

Technical Data: We may collect basic technical information such as browser type and session data to maintain the stability and performance of the game.

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the game and its features.
• Authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• Enable multiplayer gameplay, leaderboards, bands, and social features.
• Process donations and premium purchases.
• Enforce our community rules and ban users who violate them.

Some of your in-game data is publicly visible to other players by design — this includes your player name, SOM, level, fame, neighborhood positions, and band affiliations. This is a core part of the multiplayer experience.

• Base44 — our application platform, which handles authentication, database, and hosting infrastructure.
• Stripe — payment processing for donations and premium items.
• Twitch — if you interact with our Twitch integration for live game announcements.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and platform.

Your account and gameplay data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it for legal or safety reasons.

Chat messages and combat logs may be retained for a limited period for moderation and anti-abuse purposes.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Authentication and data storage are managed through Base44's secure infrastructure. Payment transactions are encrypted via Stripe's PCI-compliant systems.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Rhythm of the Streets is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has registered, please contact us immediately and we will remove their data.

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including:
